The Golden Bear Team Members (up to 10 positions)

The Golden Bear, a brand of the Sayre Hospitality Group, is seeking to hire a number of team members for our busy season this summer. Located in the heart of Apple Creek, Ohio, The Golden Bear is a staple of the community and is excited to welcome new team members on board. This is an excellent summer job for high school students.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and prepare product order lists for the site manager
• Communicate clearly with both team members and management
• Follow cash handling policies confidently
• Maintain proper dating and rotation of products
• Be detail-oriented in cash handling, orders, waste tracking, etc.
• Adhere to all company policies, including dress code and cell phone use
• Assist in suggestive selling and promoting sales to meet sales goals with the team

Skills:

• Knowledge of food service operations and food preparation techniques; willingness to learn these techniques
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills
