Dietary Cook or Aide

We’re currently seeking a Dietary Cook or Aide to support our kitchen team and ensure our residents receive nourishing meals in a clean and welcoming environment.

Cook

Prepare and cook well-balanced, tasty meals in accordance with facility menus and resident needs

• Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards at all times

• Ensure timely meal preparation and service

• Collaborate with the dietary team to address special diets and preferences

• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and in compliance with regulatory standards

• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed

Aide

• Assist in meal preparation and plating under the supervision of the Cook and Dietary Manager

• Deliver food trays and beverages to residents in dining areas or rooms

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining rooms, and equipment

• Wash dishes, utensils, and food prep surfaces following sanitation guidelines

• Follow dietary plans for residents with modified or restricted diets

• Stock food and supplies, rotate inventory, and report shortages

• Provide friendly and respectful service to all residents and team members

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare preferred

• Understanding of basic nutrition and food safety is a plus

• Ability to work well in a team and take direction

• Compassionate attitude and a genuine interest in resident well-being

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including some weekends and holidays

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
