Wire Harness Assembly Technician

Overview

• Plan new or modified electrical installations to minimize waste, allow for future maintenance, and meet local codes and specifications.
• Install and perform functional testing of electrical components and systems per engineering specifications, drawings, and manuals–ensuring a defect-free system.
• Demonstrate effective build and repair techniques, including splicing, soldering, and pinning of wiring.
• Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications as required.
• Follow all company safety policies and regulations.
• Adapt to additional duties as required (duties may change with or without notice).

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in electrical or cable fabrication.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to use both hand and automated tools.
• Ability to read and understand computer-generated prints.
• Database experience in Excel preferred (not required).
• Knowledge of Mil-Spec components preferred (not required).
• Strong willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• May be required to obtain a Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance depending on contract needs.
