Warehouse Facility Maintenance- 2nd shift

Overview

We deliver the goods. This role involves building maintenance work within a distribution facility, with a focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency.

• Pay Rate: $20-22.00 per hour based on experience

The Building Mechanic keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.

• Assists in the proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials and systems at the distribution plant/designated building.
• Tests emergency generators.
• Records data from main electrical panels.
• Inspects various equipment and building areas, including air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; records data from inspections.
• Tests sprinkler system water flow, tamper switches and sprinkler system alarms.
• Tests fire pump and alarm.
• Inspects all equipment and repairs or replaces as necessary to avoid downtime.
• Inspects, lubricates and cleans condensers and evaporators.
• Performs annual inspections on refrigeration compressors, including changing oil and filter, disassembling compressor for internal inspection and realigning mechanical couplings.
• Inspects and lubricates freezer and cooler doors and performs needed repairs; maintains inventory of repair parts.
• Designs and constructs carpentry items requested by other departments.

• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepares for operations. Performs daily safety checks.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift, secures all equipment and completes all necessary reports and paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
