We value the safety of our associates! The Building Maintenance keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.

• Assists in the proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials and systems at the distribution plant/designated building.
• Tests emergency generator.
• Records data from main electrical panels.
• Inspects various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof‑mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; record data from inspections.
• Tests sprinkler system's water flow, tamper switches and sprinkler system alarms.
• Tests fire pump and alarm.
• Inspects all equipment and repair or replace as necessary to avoid downtime.
• Inspects, lubricates and cleans condensers and evaporators.
• Performs annual inspections on refrigeration compressors, including change oil and filter, disassemble compressor for internal inspection and align mechanical couplings.
• Inspects and lubricates freezer and cooler doors and perform needed repairs; maintain inventory of repair parts.
• Designs and constructs carpentry items requested by other departments.
• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepares for operations. Performs daily safety checks.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non‑emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Maintenance and repair or related area.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

• Associate degree in areas Electrical Mechanical Diagnostics, Service and/or Repair.
• 1-2+ years preferred experience of electrical‑mechanical‑and hydraulic equipment i.e.: control panels, PLC's, conveyor shaft, motor and bearing replacement, etc. in a warehouse environment.
