HVAC Technician

In this role, you will be the backbone of environmental comfort and safety for our patients and staff, managing critical heating, ventilation, and cooling systems. We value your work-life balance, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., allowing you to plan your personal time with certainty.

Beyond the daily maintenance of our advanced facility, you will play a vital role in our emergency response team through a rotating on-call obligation. This position is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining high standards in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

The minimum salary for the HVAC Technician position is $33.65 per hour and the maximum salary for the HVAC Technician position is $37.50 per hour.

The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
