Elementary Middle School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Springfield, OH

Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for supporting students at elementary, middle, and high school levels

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
• Deliver direct therapy services to students, individually or in groups
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
  
  Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other specialists to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Offer resources and guidance to staff and families on communication strategies
