Qualifications & Desired
Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for supporting students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, individually or in groups
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other specialists to support student success - Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Offer resources and guidance to staff and families on communication strategies
