Driver Helper

Position Details

• Pay:
  • Day Shift: $15.50/hr
  • Night Shift: $17.00/hr
• Schedule:
  • Day shift – 4‑day work week, Monday‑through‑Friday dispatch, start time between 4:00 am and 6:00 am.
  • Night shift – 4‑day work week, Sunday‑through‑Friday dispatch, start time between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
  • Both shifts include 10‑to‑14 hour work days.

Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the nation's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers ensure products arrive at customers in good condition and on time while representing the company by building lasting relationships. As a Driver, Helper Non Formula, you will assist the Driver in every aspect of product delivery to our customers.

The Driver, Helper Non Formula rides with and assists Drivers in the tractor‑trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products safely and timely, in accordance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). You will communicate professionally with customers, vendors and co‑workers, answering questions accurately and timely. You will serve as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.

• Assist the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Load and unload truck and/or company vehicles.
• Place products in areas identified by customers.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months in a warehouse environment and interfacing with customers within the food‑service industry
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check

• 1+ year in a warehouse environment and interfacing with customers within the food‑service industry
