1st Shift Freight Handler - Part Time
Distribution Center Address: 4980 Gateway Blvd., Springfield, Ohio 45502.
PayStarting at $18.60 plus performance incentives, bonuses, etc.
Work Schedule- Friday and Saturday 6 am to 2 pm
- Sunday 5 am to 1 pm

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a freight handler, you'll support our team by safely removing pallets of product from the trailer, breaking down the product for the correct pallet configuration, separating inbound freight by item code onto good pallets, ensuring that damaged product is properly accounted for and not received into the warehouse sale inventory, and maintaining the structural integrity of pallets.
No experience required – we’ll train you how to get the job done.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Can work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25°F to 100°F).
- Must read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required.
