Toby’s Family Foods is searching for an office person extraordinaire. We are a growing company with an assortment of office related tasks to accomplish every day. We are looking for an honest, reliable, hardworking individual who enjoys variety in their work day. You should be good with numbers, able to navigate spreadsheets and various office related software applications. You should be someone who enjoys getting to the root cause of things and able to grind away at data entry type projects.
We will train the right person, but experience and or a thirst to learn new things is important. You will learn a lot of valuable skills no matter what!
This is a full-time, hands-on position. Our benefits include health insurance reimbursement, retirement plan through Oregon Saves, and paid time off. Our schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, typically no weekends.
Here is a list of skills and duties you may be asked to accomplish.
Responsibilities- Be proficient with Quick Books or able to become so in a timely manner
- Accurately enter bills and credit card receipts into Quick Books
- Perform cycle counts of raw materials with month end reconciliation
- Investigate discrepancies in inventory and troubleshoot to prevent future issues.
- Invoice customers based on incoming PO’s
- Updating and maintaining inventory logs
- Troubleshooting AP/AR concerns
- Efficient use of Excel with ability to understand and navigate existing spreadsheets
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work
- Answering office phones
- Greeting/checking in visitors and vendors
- Have strong communications with owner, supervisors and fellow office team members.
- Attention to detail with strong organization and follow through skills are a must for this job.
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word) and Quick Books, or able to learn and develop proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
