Starting wage range: $68,640 - $85,800 annually, depending upon qualifications
Relief Nursery provides comprehensive family support services that are easily accessible to families who are raising children birth through five years of age and who are experiencing high levels of stress. We provide early intervention that centers on building successful and resilient children and strengthening parents. Our staff work as a team to provide a unique array of support, from therapeutic classrooms and outreach programs, to parenting education, substance use disorder recovery support and more.
Position OverviewThe Grants & Reporting Manager manages the full lifecycle of foundation, corporate, and government grants, from researching opportunities and writing and submitting proposals to ensuring compliance, reporting, and closeout. Working closely with organizational leadership, this role is responsible for maintaining strong grant systems, meeting funder requirements and deadlines, and translating program and financial information into clear, compelling narratives.
The role also supervises staff supporting data and reporting functions and plays a key role in strengthening processes that promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and collaborative grants professional who enjoys both writing and systems management and is motivated by mission-driven work.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead grant writing and proposal development for foundation, corporate, and government funding.
- Manage the full lifecycle of grants—from opportunity tracking and writing and submitting proposals through award management, reporting, and closeout.
- Research and monitor new and existing funding opportunities; maintain awareness of deadlines, requirements, budget goals and eligibility criteria.
- Draft, edit, and finalize grant narratives, budgets, and supporting materials, incorporating program data, outcomes, and financial information.
- Develop and maintain tools, templates, checklists, and workflows that support consistent and efficient grant management practices.
- Maintain a centralized system for tracking grant applications, awards, contracts, reporting schedules, stewardship activities and current and historical grant information.
- Support leadership by providing clear, organized grant information to inform funding decisions and planning.
Grant Compliance, Contracts & Fiscal Coordination
- In coordination with relevant director(s), ensure grants and subcontracts are implemented in compliance with funder requirements, organizational policies, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate internal processes related to grant applications, financial reporting, and documentation submission, including timely requests to finance and program staff.
- Maintain organized grant records to support audits, monitoring visits, and internal compliance reviews.
Data, Reporting & Documentation
- Supervise and support the Data & Reporting Specialist, ensuring accurate data collection, documentation, and reporting practices.
- Work with program and finance teams to align data collection and reporting activities with grant deliverables and timelines.
- Coordinate and prepare required grant reports, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Translate program and financial data into clear, accessible narratives that communicate progress, outcomes, and impact.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying gaps in reporting processes and recommending practical enhancements.
