Job Overview

The Director of Creative Services supports and partners with the Chief Creative Officer in leading creative strategy and execution across the agency. This role is ideal for an experienced creative leader with a proven agency track record who can oversee campaigns holistically, manage complex projects independently, and lead multidisciplinary teams managing the day-to-day details.

This position supports an integrated marketing agency with brand, film, and merchandise divisions
, and plays a key role in ensuring creative work is aligned, on-strategy, and delivered at a high level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with executive leadership to define and execute creative strategy aligned with brand and business goals
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all creative outputs and marketing channels
  • Lead the development of integrated, multi-channel campaigns from concept through delivery
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and drive innovation in creative approach
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of complex creative projects across digital, print, and production
  • Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and overall project delivery
  • Lead project kickoffs, align teams on scope and objectives, and ensure successful execution
  • Identify risks, solve production challenges, and drive process improvements for efficiency and scalability
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary creative team
  • Foster a collaborative environment that balances creativity with accountability and delivery
  • Partner with internal teams (marketing, account, product, leadership) to align creative with business objectives
  • Facilitate ideation and concept development sessions
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Present creative concepts, updates, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Support proposal development, including scope, timelines, and resourcing
  • Ensure alignment between creative execution and approved scope, including budget awareness
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners, freelancers, and vendors
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in creative leadership roles, including at least 2 years within a creative or integrated marketing agency
  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to oversee complex, multi-channel initiatives
  • Proven experience managing, mentoring, and developing creative teams
  • Solid understanding of marketing strategy, branding, and creative execution across digital and print
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and project management tools
  • Experience working directly with clients, including scope management and creative presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into effective creative strategies, including budgeting and client management
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting creative concepts to stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with flexibility and adaptability
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or closely related field.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing creative teams with a focus on growth and performance
