Schedule:
24hr- 6-8 hrs/day rounding
- Unrestricted call
- 15 shifts per month of coverage needed
- Support Staff: RNs, OB OR and anes staff, techs, OBs
- Worksite Setting:
Inpatient - Scope of Work:
- Trauma II
- 0-8 patients per day
- Low volume program, birth attendance, treatment of newborns to young adults (0-21yo), Admit/discharge H&P, management
- Procedures
Required:- Arterial blood sampling Biopsy, simple excisional skin Bladder taps Endotracheal Intubation I&D of superficial abscesses Laceration repair, Simple Lumbar puncture Peripheral arterial puncture Reduction, simple closed extremity fractures Reduction, uncomplicated joint dislocations; frenotomy or frenectomy;
Ventilator Management, Initiate only (Per MWMC privileging form)
