Description

Per diem Neurohospitalist physician to join our Comprehensive Stroke center at Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at River Bend.

Peace Health is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center between Portland, OR and Sacramento, CA.We serve a large rural catchment area including the southwest, coastal Oregon, and the surrounding Eugene/Springfield communities. Peace Health at River Bend regularly receives referrals from critical access hospitals located in these areas. Peace Health is a Level II trauma center with a focus on individualized patient care and safety.

  • 7 on/7 off schedule (day and night shifts)
  • We support a large catchment area in Oregon (5 counties)
  • Peace Health River Bend continues our 10thyear of Gold plus recognition.
  • Dedicated 16 bed Neurocritical care unit.
  • 24-hour coverage
  • Tele Neuro pilot program in process
  • $213.25/hour

Eugene and Springfield communities are located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, also known as, Oregon wine country. Two rivers run through the community, the Willamette River, and McKenzie River. Bike, walk or run the Middle Fork Path along the Willamette River, or spend the day fishing on the McKenzie River. Springfield has a flourishing downtown and fast becoming a must visit for your culinary experience!
