Job DescriptionSpringfield Public Schools is accepting applications for Certified Teachers for the Extended School Year (ESY) Program. ESY is a summer program for students with complex needs, often served in Life Skills programs. The program runs from July 6 through July 30, 2026. Certified staff will work 4.5 hours per day.
Contract Dates: July 6 – July 30, 2026 (Monday – Thursday)
Rate of Pay: Regular (current district employees) or pending placement on salary schedule (external applicants)
Pay Dates: July hours will be paid August 25, 2026
Special Requirements: active or pending teaching license with a Special Education Generalist endorsement
