Salary and BenefitsThe salary range is $35,691 - $77,323 (pro-rated based on 0.75 FTE) per year depending on education and experience.

About the PositionWe are seeking outstanding candidates for Part‑Time (0.75 FTE) Middle School (Grades 6‑8) Language Arts & Social Studies teacher cessful candidates will possess the following characteristics:
- A belief that every student can and will learn
- The desire to eliminate inequities in student achievement
- The motivation to foster safe, healthy and engaging environments
- A commitment to promote an inclusive culture that draws on the assets of students, staff and community
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and experience with middle school‑aged students
- Strong understanding of multi‑tiered systems of support for academics, social/emotional, and behavior
- Knowledge and experience working in a school or district implementing Response to Intervention (RtI)
- Knowledge of school‑wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Demonstrated understanding and responsiveness to the diverse backgrounds characteristic of a K‑12 school community
- Strong student relationship‑building skills and the ability to establish a sound system of classroom routines and management
- Establishes effective, collaborative working relationships with diverse staff, students, and community populations
- Ability to effectively manage and supervise students and their work
- A valid state of Oregon teaching license with both Foundational Language Arts and Foundational Studies endorsements
- Successfully pass fingerprinting, criminal background check, Oregon Department of Education background check, and TSPC background check
