The salary range is $35,691 - $77,323 (pro-rated based on 0.75 FTE) per year depending on education and experience.

We are seeking outstanding candidates for Part‑Time (0.75 FTE) Middle School (Grades 6‑8) Language Arts & Social Studies teacher cessful candidates will possess the following characteristics:

• A belief that every student can and will learn

• The motivation to foster safe, healthy and engaging environments
• A commitment to promote an inclusive culture that draws on the assets of students, staff and community

• Knowledge and experience with middle school‑aged students
• Strong understanding of multi‑tiered systems of support for academics, social/emotional, and behavior
• Knowledge and experience working in a school or district implementing Response to Intervention (RtI)
• Knowledge of school‑wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
• Demonstrated understanding and responsiveness to the diverse backgrounds characteristic of a K‑12 school community
• Strong student relationship‑building skills and the ability to establish a sound system of classroom routines and management
• Establishes effective, collaborative working relationships with diverse staff, students, and community populations
• Ability to effectively manage and supervise students and their work

• A valid state of Oregon teaching license with both Foundational Language Arts and Foundational Studies endorsements
• Successfully pass fingerprinting, criminal background check, Oregon Department of Education background check, and TSPC background check
