Salary and BenefitsThe salary range is $23,794 - $51,549 per year depending on education and experience, prorated for 0.5 FTE.
About the PositionSpringfield Public Schools seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Part‑Time (0.5 FTE) High School Spanish Teacher at A3 High School. Successful candidates will:

Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and experience with high school‑aged students
- Strong understanding of multi‑tiered systems of support (MTSS) for academics and social/emotional/behavioral needs
- Knowledge and experience with Response to Intervention (RtI) and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Demonstrated understanding of, and responsiveness to, diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a K‑12 setting
- Strong student relationship building skills and ability to establish effective classroom routines and management
- Establishes effective, collaborative working relationships with diverse staff, students, and community populations
- Ability to effectively manage and supervise students and their work
- A valid state of Oregon teaching license or ability to obtain one with a World
Languages:
Spanish endorsement - Successfully pass fingerprinting, criminal, Oregon Department of Education, and TSPC background checks
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
