Primary Responsibilities- Provide general secretarial/clerical, record keeping, and organizational support for assigned School Improvement programs or grants.
- Provide support for activities associated with assigned programs or grants, including processing purchase orders, personal services contracts, district reimbursements, and invoicing.
- Assist with annual budget development; monitor and reconcile assigned program and grant budgets.
- Order supplies for assigned programs.
- Provide secretarial/clerical support to the program staff including processing required grant program reports and preparing correspondence and documents.
- Assist with collection and organization of data, including student information, necessary to support assigned initiatives.
- Create and maintain databases of information for program activities.
- Assist with the planning and organization of trainings/workshops/meetings, and other program-related events and activities.
- Provide note-taking support for meetings as assigned.
- Update and maintain information on various online platforms.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of office experience OR a combination of post high school education and experience
- Proficiency in the use of web-based communication tools and information sharing systems, spreadsheets, database, and word processing software
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping processes
- Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish is preferred
School Improvement Services focuses on improving achievement for all students within our community through providing high quality professional development, technical assistance, and instructional-based support for educators in 16 Lane County School Districts. Services are provided to educators at all levels from kindergarten through graduation, in all core content areas, and can be designed to meet the collective needs of all districts or differentiated to meet individual district needs.
School Improvement Services collaborates with local districts, higher education and other agencies to provide leadership and support in pursuing and administering grants for the benefit of Lane County's schools and students.
