Position OverviewThe Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of ARI’s specialized drilling and blasting projects across mining, site development, and specialty excavation operations. This field-based hybrid position combines hands‑on operational involvement with technical project coordination, engineering support, field technology integration, and project lifecycle management. Working closely with field leadership, operators, blasters, and customers, the Project Engineer helps ensure complex projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational goals, production targets, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
This role is designed for a motivated engineering professional seeking direct involvement in complex drilling and blasting projects while developing expertise in project execution, operational planning, production support, and emerging field technologies. The position offers significant exposure to active jobsite operations, drone and modeling technology, cross‑functional collaboration, and real‑time problem solving within a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, operationally minded, and comfortable working both in the field and in a collaborative office setting to support technically complex projects from planning through execution and completion.
Schedule- Schedule is driven by active project and operational needs and may vary by jobsite, production schedules, and customer requirements.
- Work is primarily Monday–Friday; however, extended hours, travel, early morning starts, and occasional weekend work are expected in support of field operations and project execution.

- Frequent travel to active drilling and blasting project sites across the United States is required.
- Work is regularly performed in active mining and site development environments.
- We offer a generous and progressive pay scale. Pay for this position depends on experience.
- Typical annual earnings: $85,000 - $125,000 per year.

- Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of engineering, project engineering, field engineering, or construction operations experience within mining, drilling and blasting, aggregates, or related industries preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Industry knowledge: Exposure to construction, mining, quarry, aggregates, drilling, blasting, or heavy equipment operations preferred.
- Technical proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with project management, scheduling, drone mapping, modeling, or construction technology platforms preferred.
- Technology aptitude: Demonstrates strong interest in operational technology, automation, drone applications, modeling software, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and production.
- Travel flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel frequently to project sites and support field operations as needed.
- Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, field personnel, vendors, and leadership teams.
