Job Description
Peace Health is seeking a BH Clinician Licensed for a Part Time, 0.60 FTE, Day position. This is a billable clinician position.
The salary range for this job opening at Peace Health is $42.06 – $69.41. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

That’s why we’ve embedded Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Clinicians into every primary care clinic across Oregon. Using the Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) model, our clinicians apply evidence-based strategies to enhance patient outcomes and strengthen the healthcare system. As an IBH Clinician you will be a valued part of two teams:
1) the primary care clinic in which you work;
2) a highly supportive team of Integrated Behavioral Health Clinicians working across all the primary care clinics. We are passionate about fulfilling the Peace Health mission to provide integrated person‑first care, respecting mind, body and spirit, as well as lifting up one another in doing this work.
Coordinates and oversees the plan of care and service delivery of behavioral health consumers across the continuum of illness; promotes effective utilization and monitoring of health care resources; and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Provide services to consumers with commercial insurance and Medicaid and Medicare.
Responsibilities- Provides individual, family, group, and multi‑family group therapy to patients with complex diagnostic presentations and treatment needs.
- May provide clinical leadership to a team of masters’ and bachelors’ level clinicians, CSWA candidates and MSW interns.
- Assesses, develops, implements, and monitors a comprehensive plan of care through an interdisciplinary team process in conjunction with the patient and their self‑identified natural supports.
- Evaluates and provides interventions to improve a patient’s cognitive, social, vocational, spiritual, and emotional functioning, utilizing natural and community supports when possible.
- Provides urgent/crisis evaluations, interventions, and safety planning.
- Together with consumer and natural supports, identifies key problems, strengths and resources to be addressed in the treatment plan.
- May provide case management, coordination with other treatment agencies or outside support services, outreach, and engagement.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Master’s Degree
Required:
Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy. - Minimum of 3 years Experience in behavioral health.
- Experience in diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex mental health conditions.
- Preferred:
Experience in providing clinical supervision to bachelors’ and masters’ level clinicians. - Required Upon Hire:

- Interpersonal skills to obtain and interpret information appropriate to patients’ needs and age as required for assessment range of treatment, and patient care (Required).
- Proficiency with DSM‑5 diagnoses and best practice treatment interventions for a variety of behavioral health conditions (Required).
- Demonstrated ability to promote positive interpersonal relationships and patient/family centered work environment (Required).
- Knowledge and adherence to Social Work Code of Ethics (Required).
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and documenting in electronic medical records (Required).
- Effective prioritization skills (Required).
- Operates as an essential part of the primary care team providing direct intervention to patients and consultation to the medical team regarding behavioral and psychosocial aspects of health.
