Night and Weekend Differential
This weekend-focused night role gives you a unique schedule, strong pay, and the ability to work independently in a quieter hospital environment.
Friday: 9:45 PM – 6:15 AM (8-hour shift)
Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Enjoy 4 days off every week
$47.24 – $70.56/hour. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
+ $5.00/hour night shift differential
Hiring bonus & relocation assistance may be available
3-day workweek (full 0.8 FTE hours)
Weekend-focused schedule – free up weekdays
Work independently – sole sonographer on shift
This role is ideal for Ultrasound Techs who prefer focused patient care and fewer daytime interruptions.
You'll perform essential ultrasound exams that help guide critical patient care decisions.
Common exams include:
Gallbladder
Appendix
Pelvic
Renal
In this role, you will:
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound studies
Adjust exams based on patient condition and clinical needs
Recognize and communicate abnormal findings
Provide clear documentation for physician interpretation
Manage workflow independently during overnight hours
Prefer longer shifts with more days off
Are confident working independently overnight
Stay organized and calm in a self-directed environment
Take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality imaging
Required:
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent)
ARDMS certification (or able to obtain within 1 year)
Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
Oregon licensure (OBMI)
Preferred:
Hospital-based ultrasound experience
Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems
Easy access to Eugene amenities
Close to outdoor recreation: hiking, rivers, mountains, coast
