In the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), the Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician plays a key role in delivering structured, evidence‑based treatment for individuals requiring a higher level of care than traditional outpatient services. The clinician primarily delivers care through a group‑based treatment model while providing targeted individual clinical support at key points in each patient's episode of care.

This role includes completing an initial individual assessment and treatment plan at intake, meeting with patients to evaluate progress toward goals, and conducting an individual session at discharge to support transition and continuity of care. The clinician facilitates therapeutic groups that are structured, skills‑based, and aligned with evidence‑based practices, fostering engagement, recovery, and peer support. Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, the clinician monitors clinical progress, addresses emerging needs, and supports safe and successful transitions to lower levels of care or ongoing outpatient services.
