We are looking for a Residential Care Associate I to join our team at our Clear Vue RTH in Springfield, Oregon. The role involves caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients. Responsibilities include providing personal care services, supporting clients to develop appropriate daily living skills and independent activities of daily living, assisting with meal preparation, clean‑up, and food purchasing, encouraging client participation, passing medications and performing delegated medical care under a Registered Nurse’s guidance, transporting clients to and from the program, and maintaining compliance with productivity standards for documentation of services.
This position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit. Wages, benefits, and working conditions are set in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
Training ProgramWith our MHACBO‑accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while attending required, paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision to gain on‑the‑job experience.
Work ScheduleSunday through Thursday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (Full Time, Swing)
What You’ll Make$21.42 – $22.07 per hour, DOE/Credentials.
Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates.
About the ProgramClear Vue is a co‑ed, 5‑bed Residential Treatment Home that serves adults living with a mental illness. It offers private bedrooms and partial baths for all residents, along with common living space. Downstairs bedrooms and baths are fully ADA‑accessible. Columbia Care Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
What You’ll Need- Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) – preferred.
- A dedication to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete activities of daily living (ADL’s) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Driving is an essential function of this position. Must provide a valid driver’s license from state of residence or obtain one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and pass a DHS criminal background check.
The position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may require occasionally using ladders, squatting/kneeling, and performing other physical tasks. Candidates must complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings, which involve various physical, hands‑on maneuvers and techniques, including lifting and transferring clients.
