American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R) or RCIS certification for a cardiac catheterization lab role.

• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call requirements include 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Performs cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases
• Equipment includes GE Innova IGS and Philips imaging systems
• May occasionally float to another facility within the health system when operationally necessary

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT(R) or RCIS certification required
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Oregon license required if applicable
• Proof of Washington state license application required at time of consideration
• Two professional references from within the past 2 years required, at least one from a supervisor
• Skills include EKG lead placement, vascular access site prep, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile field maintenance, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Experience with procedures such as left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, IABP placement, and pacemaker insertion

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must live 60+ miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• Previous Peace Health employees must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Start date may be delayed up to 8 weeks if Washington state licensure is still in process
• Up to 3 RTO days may be approved for auto-offer positions, or up to 7 days for regular offers, with approval required before contract signing
• No additional RTO will be approved after the contract is signed
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be willing to float within the health system as operationally needed
