Where Vascular Expertise Meets Clinical ImpactThe most experienced vascular technologists often reach a point where they're no longer looking for another job.
They're looking for better cases. Better collaboration. Greater trust.
At Peace Health River Bend, you'll practice in an IAC-accredited vascular laboratory within the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute, a regional cardiovascular destination bringing together vascular surgery, cardiology, cardiac specialties, and interventional expertise under one roof. Here, your vascular studies help shape treatment decisions for patients facing some of the most complex circulatory conditions in the region.
You'll perform a broad range of non-invasive vascular studies, analyze findings, prepare preliminary reports, and work closely with physicians who value thoughtful, high-quality vascular imaging.
This role is particularly appealing to technologists who enjoy autonomy. The team is looking for someone capable of handling the full scope of vascular exams independently while maintaining the clinical excellence that patients and physicians & clinicians count on.
Peace Health is a Person-First, Value-Driven, and Highly Trusted organization. That philosophy extends to caregivers as much as patients. The belief is simple: when caregivers are supported, respected, and cared for, everyone benefits.
Why You'll Love This Role- Practice in a large regional Heart & Vascular Institute rather than an isolated vascular department.
- Work closely with vascular surgeons, cardiologists, and cardiovascular specialists whose treatment decisions depend on your expertise.
- Encounter complex and varied pathology that keeps your skills sharp and your work interesting.
- Maintain meaningful flexibility with a minimum commitment of six days per month.
- Contribute as a respected vascular expert rather than simply completing studies.
- Professionals who enjoy solving difficult diagnostic puzzles.
- People who value trust and autonomy.
- Technologists who appreciate physician collaboration.
- Clinicians who take pride in accuracy and attention to detail.
- Individuals who want their expertise to influence patient care in a meaningful way.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Vascular Technology, Sonography, or related field.
- ARDMS RVT, ARRT-VS, or RVS credential required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
- OBMI licensure
- Two years of vascular laboratory experience preferred.
Hourly Pay Range: $47.24 – $70.56
In addition to base pay, PRN caregivers receive:
- 15% differential in lieu of traditional benefits
- 403(b) retirement savings plan eligibility
- Wellness resources and programs
- Caregiver discount offerings
- Expanded Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Mental health and wellbeing support services
Peace Health is committed to the overall wellbeing of its caregivers.
Why You'll Love Living HereEugene and Springfield offer something increasingly difficult to find: room to breathe.
You'll enjoy access to hiking trails, rivers, mountains, vineyards, and the Oregon coast without the congestion and cost often associated with larger West Coast cities. Many healthcare professionals are drawn to the area's balance of career opportunity and quality of life, along with a lower cost of living than Seattle or Portland.
Work somewhere clinically challenging. Live somewhere personally rewarding.
Your vascular expertise matters here. If you're looking for complex cases, meaningful physician collaboration, and a schedule that leaves room for life outside of work, let's start the conversation.
