Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at River Bend | Springfield, OR Full Time | 1.00 FTE | Evening Shift ) Pay Range: $22.35 - $33.16 per hour
The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

What You'll Do
- Gather instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for scheduled procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms before surgeries begin.
- Stock and restock supplies throughout the department and in individual operating rooms.
- Clean, disinfect, and process equipment according to established procedures.
- Assist with operating room cleanup and turnover between cases so patients can be cared for without delay.
- Help transport patients safely throughout the surgical process.
- Assist caregivers with moving and positioning patients.
- Deliver specimens to designated departments quickly and accurately.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared surgical environment.
- Support the surgical team with additional duties as needed.
What You'll Bring
Required
- Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire, issued through either American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Six months of patient care experience.
- Knowledge and ability to provide age-appropriate care for patients across the lifespan.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a team.
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
Preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using sterile or aseptic techniques.
- Understanding of operating room workflows and practices.
- Medical Assistant certification.
