American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab requiring 1+ year experience and ARRT(R) or RCIS certification.

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting with potential floating to Electrophysiology Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Hybrid OR
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call requirements include 1 weekend per month and 1 weeknight per week
• Epic EMR experience required, minimum 1 year
• Candidates must be willing to float within the health system as operationally necessary
• River Bend travelers may occasionally float to University District

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS certification required
• Oregon license required if applicable; pending license accepted
• Epic EMR experience required within the past year
• Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, hemodynamic monitoring, and pacemaker insertion
• Skilled in vascular access, sterile technique, and equipment setup/maintenance
• Experience with fluoroscopy and imaging equipment such as GE Innova IGS or Philips systems

• Responsibilities include EKG lead placement, prepping access sites, room circulation, and maintaining sterile fields during procedures
• Recognizes and responds to life-threatening arrhythmias and participates in rapid response/code team activations
• Orientation held weekly on Mondays
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside 60+ miles from the facility
• Previous Peace Health employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be disclosed and approved prior to contract signing, with limited additional RTO allowed after signing
• Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration
• Start date may be delayed up to 8 weeks if licensure is still in process
