Flexibility Shouldn't Mean Settling for LessSome PRN positions ask you to give up the challenging cases, professional growth, and sense of purpose that drew you to healthcare in the first place.
This isn't one of them.
At Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at River Bend
, you'll perform echocardiography within the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute
, one of the Pacific Northwest's leading cardiovascular programs. Patients arrive from throughout Lane County and southern Oregon seeking advanced heart and vascular care.
Your day may include evaluating a patient with advanced heart failure, supporting care for someone recovering from cardiac surgery, assisting in the workup of structural heart disease, or helping provide critical information that guides treatment decisions.
These are the kinds of studies that keep experienced sonographers engaged.
The expectation here isn't simply to complete an exam and move on. Your knowledge, judgment, and attention to detail play an important role in helping uncover the answers clinicians need.
And because this is a per diem opportunity
, you have something many healthcare professionals are searching for: flexibility.
You can continue working in a sophisticated cardiovascular environment while creating more space for family, travel, hobbies, semi-retirement, consulting work, school, or simply life outside the hospital.
At Peace Health, a person-first, values-driven, highly trusted healthcare organization
, we believe caregivers perform their best when they feel supported and valued. Caring for caregivers is part of caring for patients, and that commitment extends to every member of our team, including those working in flexible roles.
