ESSENTIAL

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership:
  • Ultimately responsible for all workflow and customer service standards compliance for Service Teams.
  • Provide leadership to team members through consistent meetings to provide ongoing training and development opportunities; recognize opportunities for growth; assist in their expansion of industry knowledge to better serve our clients.
  • Drive results and provide governance of strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Leadership Team to support and develop agency initiatives.
  • Foster positive working relationships with Clients, Producers, and Client Advisor teams.
  • Manage P&L for the market and provide updates to Leadership Team.
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.
  • Ownership of vendor / partner relationships by market (i.e., Denver)
  • Ownership of EPIC metrics for measuring revenue.
  • Partner with Producers to meet clients and bring in new business.
  • Actively participate in IMA management meetings.
  • People Management:
  • Provide leadership to team members through consistent meetings to provide ongoing training and development opportunities; recognize opportunities for growth; assist in their expansion of industry knowledge to better serve our clients.
  • Strategic assignment and reassignment of business with Account Executives, as needed throughout the year, contemplating growth, shifts in service center business and development of associate knowledge / expertise and opportunity.
  • Responsible for day-to-day coaching and management of team including escalated client, carrier and accounting issues.
  • Manage PTO approval, performance reviews, timecards, back-up plans.
  • Serve as gatekeeper for complaints / challenges (client, producer, marketing, etc.) or E&O related matters.
  • Account Service:
  • Manage a small book of business and build relationships with clients.

REQUIRED

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

include but are not limited to:

  • 5 to 10 years of insurance industry experience
  • A state Life and Health license and will fulfill continuing education requirements to retain licensing
  • Prior management experience with demonstrated ability to drive results in a team-oriented workplace
