Launch a new card grading operation for the Beckett team in Tigard, Oregon
Oversee the end-to-end card grading process, including receiving, research and identification, encapsulation, quality control, imaging, invoicing, and shipping
Manage on-site operations and supervise the operations team
Ensure the department meets projected quarterly revenue and profit goals through motivating, coaching, and training employees
Implement and enforce policies and procedures to optimize productivity
Organize workflows, delegate tasks, establish daily objectives, and create weekly schedules
Monitor employee productivity
Coach, counsel, discipline, and evaluate employees; recommend promotions to the Operations Manager
Resolve submission discrepancies using standard operating procedures, including contacting customers by phone or email
Track and create monthly KPIs and metrics for management
Work cross-functionally with other departments
Occasionally travel to trade shows and events to support on-site grading operations
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proven experience as a supervisor or in a relevant role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office 365
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Strong organizational skills to achieve production goals and maximize productivity
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities and work in a positive team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to quickly and accurately identify and resolve problems with limited supervision
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility validated through e-Verify
- Willingness to work from the Tigard, Oregon office Monday through Friday, between 6:30 am and 5:00 pm
- Willingness to complete initial training at Beckett's Plano, Texas headquarters
- Occasional weekend travel to card shows and events on the West Coast
Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage card grading operations, ensuring productivity and quality control while meeting revenue goals. Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office tools to track performance metrics and optimize workflows.
