As a Mill Clean Up Worker, your role is essential to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.

You'll work closely with team members and machine operators to support smooth production and uphold safety standards. What You'll Do As a Mill Clean Up Worker, you will be responsible for:
Sweep, shovel, and vacuum wood chips, sawdust, glue drips, and other debris Keep production areas clean and free of obstructions Clean around machinery, workstations, catwalks, and conveyors Collect, sort, and dispose of scrap wood, rejected materials, and waste glue Empty garbage bins and dust collectors regularly Assist machine operators by clearing jams or delivering materials Help out in other areas of the lumber mill or facility as needed What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Physical stamina to perform bending, kneeling, stooping, and twisting throughout the shift 2+ years of work experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred) 1+ year experience in wood manufacturing (preferred) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Strong safety awareness and practices Ability to learn machinery used in wood processing and production

Experience with skill saws, hand, and power tools Capability to stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull for 8-10 hours Ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs. regularly Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and good attendance Ability to work well as part of a diverse team Why Join Us in Springfield?
