Production Operator E Job, Springfield, OR

Arclin USA is looking for a Production Operator E for our Springfield, OR location
. Reporting to the Production Supervisor
, this is an entry-level, full-time role. The Operator performs tasks related to the manufacturing and processing of resins and formaldehyde. The role requires adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and Arclin policies to maintain an efficient, safe operation.

Production Operator E

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manufactures resin and formaldehyde and/or related surfaces according to established procedures and HSE regulations.
  • Unloads and loads raw materials and finished products following established procedures (tanker trailers, railcars, box trucks, and bulk trucks).
  • Operates a forklift to load/unload raw materials (drums, totes, bags).
  • Collaborates with management to meet the production and shipping schedule.
  • Ensures required shipping documents are completed and procedures are followed to comply with regulations and corporate requirements.
  • Participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committee to facilitate safety improvements.
  • Follows all site rules and procedures related to quality, health, safety, and the environment.
  • Visually monitors processes and informs the Lead Operator of deviations or abnormalities.
  • Works with the Lead Operator to safely and efficiently meet production and maintenance schedules across processes.
  • Communicates with the Lead Operator and with Technical, Supervisory, and Support personnel to resolve process conditions affecting safety, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Responds to process alarms and interlocks, coordinating corrective actions as needed.
  • Performs In-Process Checks (IPCs) to verify batch progression and quality using laboratory equipment (GC, titrator, pH meter, etc.).
  • Performs troubleshooting in the event of process deviations.

Starting pay - $26.19/hr for Operator E; advancement to Operator C with time and experience.

Starting pay - $34.55/hr for Operator C; further advancement opportunities available.

Production Operator E

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Forklift experience a plus but certification can be obtained.

Capable of driving a Tractor/Tanker unit or willingness to learn.

Analytical and mechanical mindset required for success.

Must be comfortable with rotating shifts (days/nights/evenings on a rotating schedule).

Must adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.

Ability to sit, stand, walk and climb frequently in elevated areas.

Will lift an average of 50 lbs frequently.

Basic computer and math skills required, including calculator use.
