Executive Director

Our client, a well-established nonprofit serving the Eugene/Springfield community, is seeking a thoughtful, strategic, and community-minded Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter.

The Executive Director will provide overall leadership and strategic direction while partnering closely with the Board of Directors, senior leadership team, staff, donors, community partners, and governmental funders.

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the organization, its programs, and staff.
• Partner with senior leaders across Development, Finance, Housing Services, and Behavioral Health.
• Lead the implementation and continued development of the organization’s long-term strategic plan.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, inclusive, and trauma-informed workplace culture.
• Mentor, coach, and develop leaders while creating opportunities for continued professional growth.
• Evaluate organizational effectiveness and identify opportunities to strengthen programs, processes, and operations.

• Partner closely with the Board of Directors on organizational strategy, governance, and long-term priorities.
• Provide clear and transparent reporting regarding finances, operations, risk management, organizational performance, and key metrics.
• Support Board committees and help align Board and staff leadership around organizational priorities.
• Lead strategic planning efforts and ensure goals are translated into meaningful action.

• Partner with the Development Director to strengthen and grow the organization’s fundraising efforts.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with individual donors, business sponsors, community partners, and other funders.
• Actively participate in donor cultivation and solicitation, special events, community engagement, and grant-related efforts.
• Identify opportunities to expand the organization’s donor base and create sustainable sources of financial support.
• Serve as a visible and trusted representative of the organization throughout the Eugene/Springfield community.
