- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the organization, its programs, and staff.
- Partner with senior leaders across Development, Finance, Housing Services, and Behavioral Health.
- Lead the implementation and continued development of the organization’s long-term strategic plan.
- Foster a collaborative, respectful, inclusive, and trauma-informed workplace culture.
- Mentor, coach, and develop leaders while creating opportunities for continued professional growth.
- Evaluate organizational effectiveness and identify opportunities to strengthen programs, processes, and operations.
- Partner closely with the Board of Directors on organizational strategy, governance, and long-term priorities.
- Provide clear and transparent reporting regarding finances, operations, risk management, organizational performance, and key metrics.
- Support Board committees and help align Board and staff leadership around organizational priorities.
- Lead strategic planning efforts and ensure goals are translated into meaningful action.
- Partner with the Development Director to strengthen and grow the organization’s fundraising efforts.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with individual donors, business sponsors, community partners, and other funders.
- Actively participate in donor cultivation and solicitation, special events, community engagement, and grant-related efforts.
- Identify opportunities to expand the organization’s donor base and create sustainable sources of financial support.
- Serve as a visible and trusted representative of the organization throughout the Eugene/Springfield community.
