What You'll Do
Every shift is an opportunity to make a patient's experience safer, more comfortable, and more healing.
You will:
· Provide direct patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
· Build supportive relationships with patients and families throughout their stay.
· Take and document vital signs and report changes in condition promptly.
· Assist with mobility, ambulation, transfers, and safe patient handling.
· Help patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, eating, and hydration.
· Support comfort, dignity, and independence whenever possible.
· Perform basic clinical tasks within CNA scope, including treatments directed by nursing staff.
· Monitor and communicate patient concerns, symptoms, and needs.
· Maintain accurate patient documentation.
· Keep patient rooms stocked and organized so care can happen without delay.
· Answer call lights and respond quickly to patient needs.
· Provide clerical and unit support as needed, including phones, order processing, and chart-related tasks.
· Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to create a positive patient experience.

Qualifications
Required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Oregon
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Knowledge of age-specific care and patient needs across life stages

- One year of CNA experience in an acute care setting
