* Role:
Full-time Day Operating Room RN

* Schedule:

1.0 FTE working four 10-hour Day shifts each week, , schedule may include some weekends

* Unit: 26 state-of-art Surgery Suites

* Features:
The busiest Robotics program in the state with both Da Vinci 5 and XI Robots

* Surgeries Performed:
Performing ortho, neuro, crani's, spine, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, plastics, ENT, Eyes, GYN, GU, robotics, and cardiac surgeries (CVOR)

* Hospital:
Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield, Oregon - 350-bed acute care regional medical center with a Level II trauma center

Position Details:

Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and OR standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.

* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.

* Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.

* Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.

* Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.

* Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Required:

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

* Required:

Minimum 1-year operating room circulating experience in a full service OR in an acute care hospital

* Required:

Oregon Registered Nurse License

Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support Certification
