This exciting expansion positions Peace Health Springfield Rehabilitation Hospital as a regional center of excellence, delivering specialized, life-changing care to patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, and a broad range of orthopedic and cardiac conditions. Join our team in a Part-Time (0.6 FTE), DAY Shift CHARGE RN role and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients on their recovery journey. Enjoy a consistent schedule with 12-hour day shifts, allowing for greater flexibility and work-life balance.
What You Can Expect:
* Competitive pay range of $50.78 - $79.78 per hour
* Additional Designated Charge RN pay of $6.00/hour

What you bring!
Education:
Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing Required (BSN required within 36 MONTHS OF HIRE)
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years RN experience in acute care required (3 years preferred)
Credentials
* Required:
State of Oregon nursing license
* Required Upon Hire:
Basic Life Support
Essential Functions
* Coordinate patient care by shift and department.
* Supervision and assessment of clinical practice. Direct and delegate to other team members.
* Coach for performance to achieve individual and organizational goals; including orientation, competencies and evaluations.
* Develop the departmental team and collaborative relationships to achieve expected outcomes.
* Serve as a clinical and resource expert for the department.
* Articulate shift/team operational issues to management as appropriate.
* Appropriate stewardship of resources.
* Adapts decision-making style to the situation and level of authority for achieving an optimal outcome including using collaborative decision making and effective communication skills.
* Identify and apply opportunities for clinical practice improvement and support them with staff.
* Ensure professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Sacred Heart Medical Center at River Bend:
* BSN required within 36 months from the start date of the Charge Nurse role.
* Nurses may be able to work in another nursing unit if they have completed the necessary Care Connect training, unit-specific competencies, and have been deemed competent by a leader of the unit they are floating to (including, but not limited to the unit manager, assistant nurse manager, or clinical nurse educator).
* Emergency: ACLS upon hire and NIHSS within 6 months of hire or transfer.
