Part Time | 0.75 FTE | Night Shift ) | Springfield, Oregon

Salary Range: $22.35 - $33.16 per hour

The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

What You'll Do

As a CNA in our Cardiovascular ICU, you'll work closely with nurses and other caregivers to support patients and help ensure exceptional care throughout their hospital stay.

You will:

  • Assist patients with daily care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, eating, and hydration.
  • Help patients safely move, transfer, reposition, walk, and participate in mobility activities.
  • Take and document vital signs, intake and output measurements, and other patient care information.
  • Observe patients closely and promptly communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  • Support patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout each shift.
  • Assist with treatments and nursing tasks within the CNA scope of practice.
  • Stock patient rooms and supply areas to help ensure the care team has what they need.
  • Provide clerical support as needed, including answering phones, processing charts, and completing order entry tasks.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment where responsiveness and attention to detail matter.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on their feet, can prioritize competing demands, and understands the urgency that comes with caring for critically ill patients.

Qualifications

Required

  • Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Knowledge of age-specific principles of growth, development, and patient care across the lifespan

Preferred

  • At least one year of CNA experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience will also be considered
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple patient care priorities
