Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Springfield, OR | Acute Care

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in the anticipation and planning for safe patient care delivery
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Oregon or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must not be a local candidate — locals will not be accepted for this position

• Experience working in a high-volume or Level II/III Emergency Department environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Familiarity with union staffing environments
