Center for Family Development provides dual diagnosis treatment for individuals facing both chemical dependency and mental health or behavioral challenges, addressing each aspect and its broader context.

The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

We are seeking a Licensed Medical Practitioner to provide medical and psychiatric oversight in an outpatient behavioral health setting. This role supports clinical teams through consultation, assessment, and medication management to ensure safe and coordinated care.

1. Provide psychiatric evaluations and comprehensive treatment plans.

2. Provide longitudinal psychiatric medication management with all appropriate medical and symptom monitoring.

3. Consult and coordinate with Center for Family Development therapists regarding patient clinical status and treatment.

4. Coordinate with treatment team members including therapists, peer support specialists, medical assistants, and case managers to facilitate meeting medical and psychosocial needs.

5. Coordinate with outside staff such as primary care providers and other specialists when relevant.

6. Attend staff meetings and supervision.

• Must be able to accurately diagnose a range of psychiatric conditions.
• Must be able to safely prescribe medications, with all necessary medical monitoring, within appropriate scope of practice.
• Must be able to utilize essential psychotherapies, including psychoeducation, safety planning, motivational interviewing, and supportive modalities.
• Must be able to document patient care in a timely, accurate and thorough manner.
• Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to understand the systems in which care is being provided, at the team, clinic, and community levels.

• Must be able to use a computer doing all work hours.

• Licensed Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant in Oregon
• Experience with mental health assessment and medication management
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
