Pay Range: $22.35 - $33.16 per hour
The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

As a CNA on our Medical Surgical unit, you'll help patients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while supporting the nursing team in delivering exceptional care.
You will:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, eating, and hydration.
- Help patients walk, reposition, transfer, and safely move in and out of bed.
- Take and document vital signs, fluid intake and output, and other patient information.
- Observe patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the nursing team.
- Perform CNA duties and treatments within your scope of practice and under RN supervision.
- Provide comfort, reassurance, and compassionate support to patients and families.
- Keep patient rooms stocked and organized to support care delivery.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Support unit operations, including answering phones, processing orders, and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, providers, and other caregivers to create the best possible patient experience.
- Current Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, respectful patient care.
- Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changing patient needs.
- One year of CNA experience in an acute care or hospital environment.
- Experience caring for diverse patient populations across different stages of life.
