An exciting leadership opportunity is now available in Springfield, Oregon, for an experienced and motivated Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to step into the role of Chief of Specialty. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the specialty department

  • Lead a team of specialists and support staff, cultivating a positive and productive work culture

  • Develop and implement innovative clinical programs and operational protocols

  • Collaborate across departments to optimize workflow and client service

  • Set and uphold high standards in patient care, client communication, and staff development

  • Mentor and inspire veterinary professionals, fostering ongoing education and clinical growth

Qualifications
  • DVM or VMD (or equivalent)

  • 10+ years of veterinary experience, ideally within a specialty setting

  • Proven leadership and team management experience

  • Strong clinical skills in complex or high-acuity cases

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in Oregon
