Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist – Advanced Care Center
A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join its collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to practice advanced internal medicine in a modern facility while working alongside experienced emergency clinicians and veterinary specialists.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat complex medical conditions in animal patients
- Perform advanced diagnostic procedures and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Manage referred internal medicine cases and provide follow-up care
- Collaborate with emergency veterinarians and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term management
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Training or experience in veterinary internal medicine
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
