A leading emergency and specialty veterinary practice is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Criticalist in Springfield, Oregon to join an experienced 24/7 emergency and critical care team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Criticalist to work in a modern, advanced facility alongside skilled emergency clinicians and specialists. ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced critical care consultations and treatment plans
Manage complex emergency and intensive care cases
Collaborate with emergency veterinarians and specialty colleagues
Oversee critical patient management and advanced procedures
Support medical decision-making within a multidisciplinary team
Participate in case discussions, continuing education, and clinical development
Help maintain a culture of excellence, teamwork, and learning
The ideal candidate will have:
Board certification in Veterinary Critical Care or completion of an approved residency programme
Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Oregon
Strong expertise in emergency and intensive care medicine
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning

Starting base salary: $200,000 – $300,000
