What You’ll Do
- Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care, examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Safely handle and restrain patients while helping keep them comfortable.
- Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, instruments, and supplies for patient care.
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client questions.
- Assist clients during check-in and check-out and process payments accurately.
- Maintain accurate client and patient information and document communication appropriately.
- Help keep front-desk, treatment, and common areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Move between clinical and reception responsibilities based on the needs of the hospital.
- Collaborate with teammates to keep daily hospital operations organized and efficient.
- Help create an excellent experience for pets and the people who love them.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous veterinary assistant and/or veterinary reception experience.
- Strong communication and client-service skills.
