Overview

Division 9 – Architectural Specialty Wood Ceiling Products. 9

Wood is expanding its sales team. We are currently seeking experienced Sales Executives who know how to win opportunities, navigate commercial construction projects within a structured sales process, and win work in a competitive bid environment.

Responsibilities
  • Full-time Project Sales role
  • Own the sales pipeline. Develop and manage a pipeline of commercial construction projects, partnering with architects, designers, general contractors, and subcontractors throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Develop the solution. Lead conversations, uncover project needs and budgeting, position 9

    Wood effectively, and close opportunities.
  • Collaborate to win. Work with architects, owners, developers, and contractors, demonstrate how our solutions add value and position 9

    Wood as the preferred wood ceiling solution.
  • Maintain visibility. Keep the CRM updated to support pipeline management and reporting.
  • Stay on top of the work. Be proactive, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across multiple projects at once.
What You’ll Do

This role is focused on developing relationships and driving projects forward from early design through final award. You ll:

Unlike most sales roles, you won t be responsible for prospecting. Our marketing and product teams generate the opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

You know how to build momentum in a complex, project-driven environment. You re comfortable developing relationships, identifying opportunities early, and staying engaged through a long sales cycle.

You can manage multiple projects at different stages while maintaining consistent, disciplined follow-up. You ask direct questions, challenge assumptions when needed, and confidently ask for the business.

Experience in construction, architectural, or specification-based sales is a plus, but not required. What matters most is your ability to navigate multiple stakeholders, communicate clearly, and move opportunities forward.

Strong Candidates Will Bring
  • Experience in B2B or project-based sales
  • Ability to manage structured sales processes and complex stakeholder groups
  • High level of responsiveness and follow-through
  • Confidence leading conversations and closing business
  • Self-discipline in a remote or independent environment
  • Confidence handling phone conversations with customers and internal teams
