This position is only eligible for in office/branch work arrangements at the Thurston Branch and will serve the Thurston and Mohawk areas.

Compensation
  • The full salary range for the In House Insurance Sales Agent position is $19.05 to $26.00 per hour, with new hires generally starting between $20.20 to $22.50 per hour, based on relevant knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
  • Spanish-language differential:
    Candidates who pass the Spanish language assessment will be eligible to earn an additional $1-$2 per hour.
  • Commissions:
    This position is eligible to earn commissions in addition to the base salary. These commissions range from $1,200 to $1,900 per month, with an average of $1,400 per month, depending on the product type.

The In House Insurance Sales Agent is responsible for generating insurance sales for SELCO Insurance Services and our Credit Union Partners primarily through outbound contact to prospects submitted via team referrals and online inquiries channels.

Position-specific Essential Functions
  • Generate insurance sales by contacting prospects on behalf of SELCO Insurance Services and/or Credit Union Partners submitted primarily through referrals and online channels.
  • Finalize insurance sales by ensuring appropriate documentation is accurately completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain insurance carrier system knowledge and understanding of carrier specific underwriting requirements.
