Mining Blaster Apprentices - 4 Weeks On/1 Week Off

Aggregate Resource Industries, Inc. is seeking Blaster Apprentices to join their team in Springfield, Oregon. These entry-level roles offer hands‑on training in drilling and blasting, working alongside experienced professionals on mining and construction projects across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Ideal candidates are safety‑focused, eager to learn, and ready for travel and outdoor work in a dynamic environment.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations/accidents in 3 years, no DUIs)
- Ability to pass ATF background check for explosive handling
- Pre‑employment and random drug testing (zero‑tolerance policy, including marijuana)
- Physical stamina: able to lift 75 pounds and work long hours on feet
- Willingness to travel frequently and work extended rotations (4 weeks on/1 week off for some projects)
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safety
- Demonstrated values of integrity, teamwork, grit, and continuous improvement
- Eagerness to pursue ongoing training and development
- Adaptability and reliability in changing project environments
