Installation Technician, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer, General Labor, Building Maintenance
Job Title
Complete installation of new heating and cooling systems, and relocation of existing systems.
Operate company vehicle as needed
Work well with customers, co-workers and other sub-contractors
Follow instructions from supervisor and journeyman, and carry out in a timely manner
Installation of ductwork in a neat & professional manner
Keep job site and company vehicle clean and organized
Attend continued professional HVAC training as scheduled by management
Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
Maintain a regularly punctual attendance record, fill out daily timecard accurately
Effectively communicate with co-workers and other sub-contractors
Adhere to company safety rules and regulations
Regular use of personal protective equipment
Come to work ready to work with proper tools and attire
Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
Ability to work well independently or as a team
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds consistent with trade practice
Ability to work out of town when necessary
Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperatures
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
Must be able to work off ladders & lifts
Minimum High School diploma, GED or equivalent
Previous HVAC experience in a commercial application is preferred
Enrollment in apprenticeship program or technical/trade school is preferred
Previous experience reading blue prints is preferred
Basic written and verbal English language communication skills
