Days (6am-4:30pm – Monday-Thursday)
Job Requirements:
· At least 18 years of age
· Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
· Eligible for employment in the US
· At least three (3) years of work experience in any one of the following mechanical disciplines: PIPE FITTING
· Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
o Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)
o Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills
o Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
o Undergo a job related health assessment as a condition of employment
o Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
o Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
o Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification
o Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
o Wear required safety equipment
It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience:
· Associates degree or certification(s) in any of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or PIPE FITTING
· A minimum of 3 years work experience in any one of the following mechanical disciplines: PIPE FITTING
· Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
The Job You Will Perform:
This position will assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Pipefitter:
· Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
· Perform welding or brazing as needed
· Perform field measurements and installations as needed
· Assemble and install pipes, and valves according to lay-out plan, blueprints and other drawings
· Fabricate structural materials and pipes as needed
· Conduct pressure testing to ensure integrity
· Understand specifications and regulations related to plumbing and piping system
• Other duties as assigned
