Position: Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) - Compassionate Support

Substance Use Recovery Mentor (CRM)

Springfield Treatment Center is seeking a Substance Use Recovery Mentor (CRM) who brings compassion, purpose, and a genuine dedication to supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

Compensation

$19.00/hr - $22.00/hr depending on experience.

Location

Must be willing to work at both Springfield and Eugene as needed.

Requirements
  • Minimum six months of relevant experience.

Work Hours

5:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. M-F and 6:00 – 10:00 a.m. on rotating Saturdays.

Day to Day
  • You will play a vital role in the recovery journey of our clients by attending group sessions alongside primary counselors, embodying a positive role model while reinforcing valuable suggestions based on your personal experiences.
  • You’ll provide essential support, filling gaps that traditional counseling cannot, with services like telephonic support, case management, and meeting clients at community or 12-step gatherings.
  • Working closely with clients at various stages of recovery, you will empower them to make informed, independent choices while connecting them with invaluable community resources.
  • Embrace a flexible work schedule that accommodates early mornings, evenings, and weekends, ensuring you can meet clients where they are most comfortable and ready to grow.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Certified as a Recovery Mentor issued by the Oregon state licensing body.
  • Meet state requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
  • We follow federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances even those legal at the state level.
  • Current driver's license.
